I became a real estate agent back in 2005 because I had a fascination with homes and I enjoyed people. Soon, I realized it was much more than that.

When I bought my first house, no one explained to me the process or steps of buying a home. I also found that I often wasn't listened to, in terms of what I was looking for and the budget I wanted to stay within. When I became a realtor, I sought to change that, by creating clear communication and a process for working with new Buyers, so they would always know the next steps moving forward.

I also love a challenge! When Sellers approach me and tell me they want to upgrade or downsize their home, it presents a problem that requires unique solutions depending on the current Market. When a Buyer lives in another City and wants to relocate here, it's important to really listen and deeply understand what they are looking for, especially when they are purchasing "sight unseen" in a Hot Seller's Market! This is the marker of a relationship built on trust - that is really what it is all about.

What i'm passionate about

Before I became a real estate agent, I was a teacher for 13 years. I taught Special-Needs students and often had at least 3 Curriculums to cover.  In order to teach this diverse group, I had to be extremely organized and develop systems so everything would work like clockwork.  And did I mention I also had to have a sense of humor? Without it, I would have torn my hair out most days!

I had a mantra in teaching that went like this: "Say what you mean, mean what you say, and do what you said you were going to do".  Seems simple, right?  Sometimes the simple things are the best!

I loved my job and was passionate about it, but in 2002 I chose to resign to spend time with my youngest daughter before she entered school.  I started a Home-Based business and taught parents ways to play with their children to help foster their development. This went a lot better than I expected and I found myself forming a team that produced great results on a National level. 


I realized then and there that I wanted to work with people to solve their problems, so in 2005 I went to school and got my real estate licence.  I knew the market was going to explode so I bought my house before I got my licence!

Since then, I have worked with 3 different brokerages and currently work with NOW Real Estate Group, a top-producing boutique brokerage based out of Sherwood Park. 

What I value most are the relationships I have built over the years. I have sold to parents, grandparents, children and grandchildren within the same family. My referral and repeat business is what I am most proud of; my happy clients advertise for me by sharing my name with others! I strive to give each client the best in service, whether they are buying / selling a million-dollar home or a condo. I am passionate about clear communication, transparency, and putting my clients front and centre.  For that reason, I guarantee my work so that you are completely satisfied.
